Olaf Lies
Lower Saxony Minister for the Environment, Energy, Building and Climate Protection
Since 2017, he is Lower Saxony’s Minister for the Environment, Energy, Construction and Climate Protection. Prior to this, Olaf Lies was Lower Saxony’s Minister for Economics, Labour and Transport for five years. Lies lives with his wife and his two daughters in Sande. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Wilhelmshaven.
