Dr. Florian Knobloch

Dr. Florian Knobloch is deputy head of the division “Climate and energy cooperation with industrialized countries, hydrogen initiatives” at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). Amongst others, he is responsible for the bilateral energy and climate cooperation with North America, including the newly established US-German Climate and Energy Partnership. He studied economics and environmental policy in Berlin, Budapest and Cambridge (UK) and holds a PhD degree in environmental science of Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
