Jens Assheuer
Jens Assheuer is Managing Director of the WindMW GmbH and responsible for the planning, construction and operation of the 400 MW offshore wind farm “Meerwind” in the German North Sea.
Jens Assheuer has a degree in Civil Engineering (Master of Science) at the University of Hannover, specializing in hydraulic engineering and coastal engineering. Apart from the experience in the field of numerical simulation of waves and swell in the North Sea, Mr. Assheuer has experience of several years in the design, construction and optimization of offshore foundation structures. He accompanied the construction of the world’s first tripod and jacket foundation structures for offshore wind turbines that were built as prototypes on land.
