numerous wind power plants, as well as in Helwin cluster northeast Helgoland have gone successfully connected to the grid:

• “Nordsee Ost” reported 1,000 GWh electricity in year 1,
• “Meerwind Süd/Ost” is already now a worldwide coveted investment, and “
• “Amrumbank West” successful operation start triggers further investment decisions for the construction and operation of additional offshore wind power plants.

On Helgoland this development began visible and can be experienced live five years ago. The idea to bring together the pioneers and creators of the industry with heads made of policy and legislation, was “once” the Economic Forum on Offshore Helgoland. Now we look at the 5th edition! As in all years, you can look forward to high-profile guests and speakers from business and politics that with you on the development of offshore wind power on 01 – 02 September 2016 confer a small circle.

A particular focus of course is this time the introduction of the auction process and the new wind-at-sea law, which we will raise again this year our vision through an international perspective. Other topics include the development of networks and the growth by opening new markets and developing innovative products. And we must eagerly await that offshore wind power plant this year at the award ceremony “Best Offshore wind power plant in operation,” the number one will be. With the entire WFO team we look forward to you! You can expect another “Offshore Wind Summit” with distinguished guests and a unique deep-sea offshore environment.
