Tim Meyerjürgens is a manager in the power transmission business with 23 years’ experience in the energy sector, focusing on energy transmission and renewables, with an increasingly responsible project development and management experience on HVAC and HVDC offshore grid connections and interconnections. After graduating at the University of Applied Science Oldenburg in 2003 as Dipl. Ing. on electrical engineering – following a vocational training as power electronics engineer at Preussen Elektra Netz – Tim Meyerjürgens took over several positions within E.ON Netz for a number of years before it was acquired by TenneT in 2010. As he played a key role in building the German offshore project organization and operations from scratch, Tim Meyerjürgens has gained extensive experience in stakeholder management, engaging with many relevant stakeholders in politics, industry and society. From March 2019, Tim Meyerjürgens has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the Executive Board of TenneT Holding B.V. with additional responsibility for Offshore Wind in the Netherlands as well as international interconnector projects.
